Super Eagles defender, Danny Shittu, says that despite his injury, he is prepared to come down to Nigeria to support the Super Eagles as they prepare for their win or bust 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier.
The defender suffered a dead leg in Queen Park Ranger's Carling Cup fixture against Rochdale on Tuesday, but was still prepared to come down and support his teammates.
Shittu, who wished the team the best of luck in their African Nations Cup qualifier against Madagascar, said Samson Siasia told him to stay away from the match.
In his place, coach Samson Siasia has called up former Heartland defender Gege Soriola.
Meanwhile, ten Super Eagles players yesterday for the match.
The players are, John Mikel Obi, Victor Anichebe, Ahmed Musa, Fengor Ogude, Dele Adeleye, Joel Obi, Peter Utaka, Chinedu Obasi, Obinna Nsofor and Solomon Okoronkwo.
According to the team's Media Officer, Collins Udoh, other players will arrice today.
Udoh, in a message sent to Arena Sports denied reports in the national dailies that Isaac Promise has been invited as cover for Uche Kalu.
He said the team would observe two training sessions today while the team will train once on Wednesday
