Segun Ajose Depart Nigeria Today For United States.

Nigeria's World Boxing Council Lightwelter contender, Segun Ajose, will depart the country tonight for a medical examination in the United States of America ahead of the WBC Lightwelter eliminator bout fixed for Eight of September, 2012.

His Coach, Joe Mensah, who revealed this in an interview with our correspondent, said Ajose who beat Ali Chebah in a WBC eliminator bout  last September would now meet Lucas Mathlysse in another eliminator bout which according to him is a pre- requisite for the WBC Lightwelter belt which Danny Garcia is holding.

The boxing coach, said the bout was at the instance of the WBC where the title holder,Danny Garcia, would also fight Erik Moralese as the winners of each bout would confront each other for a title bout.

Mensah, explained that the inability of Ajose to have meet Danny Garcia for the WBC Lightwelter bout having defeated Ali Chebah in a WBC eliminator bout  last September would notbe frustrated himfrom beating his opponents to vie for the WBC Lightwelter bout.
