Shootng Stars has won this year's edition of the Oyo State Federation Cup after edging local rivals Crown FC 7-6 on penalties at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday.
The score was tied at 1-1 afer regulation time and in the resultant shootout 3SC tiumphed by converting six kicks as against Crown's five.
Shooting Stars converted all their kicks, while Crown lost one through midfilder Seun Akinyemi as 3SC claimed a record 34th Oyo State FA Cup now renamed Federation Cup.
Tth keenly-contested encounter saw 3SC wing back Daniel Osuata shooting Oluyole Warriors in front on 34 minutes as Mutiu Adepoju's team led 1-0 hatf time.
But Crown pulled level with only 17 minutes remaining when Arinze Egbuna scored.
Both teams have autmatically qualified to represent Oyo State at the national preliminaries of the Federation Cup.
