Lagos SWAN Comends Falconets

The Lagos Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria,has commended the Nigeria's Falconets for the feat recorded in yesterday's Semi final clash against Colombia in the fifth edition ofthe FIFA Women World Cup in Germany.

The Association, said the team has made the country proud aftera woeful outing of Nigeria's Super Eagles at the last FIFA World Cup held inSouth Africa.

Its President Niyi Oyeleke, said the football players were committed and determined to make Africa proud following their successful outing in the tournament of which they recorded a good performance in the gropu stage which made them the second in the group.

Oyeleke, urged the National Sports Commission to make the players smiles for qualifying for the final which Nigeria has never achieved in the history of FIFA Women World Cup.
