Terrors Dethrones Leads United In Para Soccer

T.C Terrors Parasoccer Club dethroned Leads united to win the 4th Promasidor Easter Parasoccer Championship held at the University of Lagos Sports Centre on Sunday.

Terrors boys coached by Taye Adeyemi were too much for Leads United sponsored by Tayo Popoola of the Lagos State Sports Council.

Terrors, last edition's runners up beat Leads united 4-2 in a tension soaked final watched by dignitaries who included MD of the sponsored company, Promasidor Nig Ltd, Chief keith Richards, Chairman of the organiser,Total Consult Nig Ltd, Theo Lawson, Tayo Popoola, member of the Lagos State Sports Council, Seyi Akinwunmi, chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Yeni Kuti, daughter of the Afro Beat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti and a host of others.

The 3rd place match was won by Baba Maigoro from Adamawa state who beat Kwara State team 3-1.

Promasidor's boss, Richards described the performance of the teams as excellent, adding that his company will not relent in his effort to see that the physically Challenged in the Nigerian society are not neglect.

"I want to say that we'll be here next year even bigger and better," he said.
In his comment, Total Consult boss, Lawson, popularly called 'The Headmaster' thanked the fans who came for the championship to celebrate the Easter with the physically challenged players.

"This is a day of joy to these players who showed to us their ability in disability. I believe next year's edition will be better than this," said Lawson.
