Super Eagles’ Captain, Joseph Yobo, has described the death of Super Eagles defender, Olubayo Adefemi as a great loss to the team and Nigeria.
Yobo, who sent a message on behalf of the group, expressing sadness that other players could not be there to pay their last respects to the humble and gifted player, due to club commitments.
The Fernaberche defender, lamented the demise of Olubayo, as he explained that the deceased player as someone wined and dined with the group a month ago during the Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia and the international friendly against Kenya, in Abuja.
He said Super Eagles would honor in him with a victory in their return leg against Ethiopia in June and also qualify for the 2012 African Nations Cup.
