Handsworth United Secures Federation's Cup Second Round.

The 2011 Ogun State F.A Challenge Cup holders, Handsworth United of Ifo-Local Government, has advanced to the second round of the National Federation Cup knock-out competition.

Team manager of the club, Tajudeen Olasunkanmi, stated that Handsworth United defeated, Police Machine team of Makurdi two nil at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City to move into the next round of the rookies.

To qualified for the National Federation Cup, Handsworth United won the Ogun State F.A. Cup by 5-3 on kick spots against Indomie Boys of Sango Otta in the final, having stopped F.C. Ebedei of Shagamu with the same margin at Ijebu-Ode in the first semi finals.
