LDFA/BOSKA Cup Kick Off On Saturday.

Lagos State Divisional Football Association, L.D.F.A, has announced Nine hundred thousand naira as prize money for winners of the annual BOSKA/LDFA Champions Cup scheduled to kick off 18th OF June, 2011 at the FIFA Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Chairman, Lagos State Divisional Football Association, Dotun Coker, while speaking wiht our sports correspondent, Yinka Adebayo, said the competition which is in its 5th year would attract three hundred thousand naira for the winner, two hundred thousand naira for the second position, one hundred thousand naira for the third position and fifty thousand naira for the forth position.

According to him,the Most Valuable Player, Highest goal scorer, best refree, best coverage in the print and electronics media, free play, golden gloves, best team coach will get twenty-five thousand naira each.

Coker added that Lagos Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria would take on Soccer Developer team at the opening ceremony after the best of the under 13 legs in the state will trade tackle with each other.

He also informed that Dr. Bukky Ojuwoye and Gabriel Adigwe will deliver paper on the 15th June, 2011 at Lagos SWAN Secretariat on anti-doping and frequent controversial laws of the game ahead of the opening in order to keep the teams officials in tune with the rules of the game and drugs.

Product Manager, BOSKA, Hendri Rusman, assured spectators of adequate security during the matches, adding that all matches would be played at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Lagos in order to bring the best out of the players.

Rusman, who expressed appreciation to the LDFA board for its organisation ability pledged his company, Orange Drugs Limited commitment to the continued sponsorship to the competition to develop grassroot football.
