Adele Joins Sports Marketing

The immediate past Lagos State commissioner for youth, sports and social development, Prince Ademola Adeniji-Adele has said that despite voluntarily bowing out of public service, he is still passionately interested in the development of the sports industry.

The former Commissioner for Sports,said he would continue to partner and support various initiatives for the benefit of sports

This, according to him, informed his joining up with a group of young persons to promote a sports marketing concern known as Spur Sports in which he has been confirmed chairman of the board.

Adele pointed out that the business of sports marketing is very wide and deep and it appears presently in the country to have only been barely scratched.

"We want to develop and bring on new ideas and strategies in sports marketing that will impart greatly on our communities and the industry.

The impact will be from concept designs to sponsorships, partnership building, information and relations as well as management.

These are to be delivered not only in relation to events but also in the provision of facilities and capacity building for various aspects of expertise required in sports administration and management," Adele explained.
