Eguavoen Charged Wards...As Ehiosun Hits Camp.

Chief Coach of Nigeria's Olympic team,Austin Eguavoen has charged his wards to stay focus ahead of the second leg second round All Africa game qualifier against the Black Meteors of Ghana in Kumasi this weekend.

Eguavoen, made this statement on Monday during the team's training session in Benin,Edo State.

Eguavoen who has refused to be ruffled by the seeming unavailability of some key players maintained that any Nigerian team could hold its own against any African side if it is determined and focused regardless of the players paraded”.

The former Super Eagles defender, warned that there was no room for complacency as victory remains the ultimate target in Kumasi,adding that it does not matter were they are taking the match to as his major concern is to win the crucila match in Kumasi, Ghana.


He added that the team needed to show the winning spirit because the match would be played ythis weekend, stressing that the team's efforts since tghe camp was declared oopened would be put to the test.

Nigeria takes a 3-1 first leg advantage to Kumasi in a winner takes all encounter for the 10th All Africa games in Maputo next September.

Ghana denied Nigeria’s male team an appearance in the last All Africa games.

Meanwhile, Warri Wolves and Super Eagles Striker Ekhigo Ehiosun tormed the Dream Team V camp on Monday after helping his club to a one nil win over Bukola Babes in a Nigeria Premier League game at the weekend.

Players in camp are, Dele Ajiboye, Theophilus Afelokhai, Terna Suswam, Emmanuel Anyanwu, Otekpa Eneji, Kabiru Sanusi, Dimaku Tochukwu, Olaitan Otubanjo, Ikande Harmony, Usman Amoda, Kingsley Udoh, Edet Ibok, Adewole Lawal, Jonathan Okafor, Olumide Durojaiye, Solomon Okpako, Ekhigo Ehiosun, Ochuko Victor.

The Ghana Nigeria game holds on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Baba Yara sports Stadium, Kumasi.
