Falcons Intensify Preparations Ahead Of Cameroon Clash.

Super Falcons lost 3-2 to a local Under-17 boys in a preparatory match ahead of its crucial London 2012 Olympic Games qualifier against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon on August 28 in Abuja.

The game decided on Saturday at the practice pitch of the Abuja National Stadium is one in a series of fitness test matches lined up for the reigning African champions to ensure they are at their best against the Cameroonian foes.

The match which had two sets of players lasted for two hours.

Falcons head coach Eucharia Uche, said the game was used to ascertain the fitness of the players ahead of the expected tough duel against Cameroon.

The team's Media Officer,Gracious Akujobi, confirmed that Falcons’ camp is now bubbling with full contingent of the domestic players as the team's foreign based counterparts are expected in camp by August 18.

Nigeria will tackle Cameroon in the first leg of the Olympic qualifier in Abuja on August 28 with the decisive second leg coming up in Cameroon.
