Written By sportsweight.blogspot.com on Friday, January 13, 2012 | 7:16 AM

The Nigeria Football Federation and the Liberia Football Association on Friday agreed to postpone, by two weeks, the international friendly match between the two countries’ Senior Men’s Teams, earlier billed for Sunday, January 15.

Officials of the two countries agreed to this shift in view of certain circumstances which would certainly have normalized within the next fortnight.

“The Nigeria Football Federation and the Liberia Football Association have both agreed to postpone the friendly match between their senior teams by two weeks, after which circumstances that have necessitated the shift would surely have normalized”, stated Barrister Musa Amadu, General Secretary of the NFF.

The match between the Super Eagles and the Lone Star will now take place at the end of January.
