Eagles Get New Year Baby.

Despite the tight schedule in the Super Eagles camp it seems players and officials still find time to perform their husbandry duties as a New Year baby was born on Saturday to Super Eagles psychologist, Dr Robinson Okosun.

It will be recalled that in the last camping exercise, Enyimba keeper Paul Godwin, had a baby girl on Chrstmas eve. Paul did not make it to the current squad.

In the morning of Saturday, Okosun had sought permission from Big Boss Stephen Keshi to go and be with his pretty wife, who was then in labour, he was obliged and just as the team was rounding off the morning training session, a text message came in that the Okosuns, have been blessed with a bouncing baby girl.

The safe delivery took place at Suleija Clinics in Area 8 in the Federal Capital and was conducted by Dr Charles Olabode. Announcing the arrival of the baby to players and officials, Assistant Coach Dan Amokachi, urged players to quickly indicate interest if they will like to marry the little girl in future.

Midfielder, Bathlomew Ibenegbu, was the first to indicate interest as one of the players quipped “na grey hair you want take marry am”, which sent all reeling in laughter. Okosun, has since rejoined camp.
