The national team will on Friday take on the Nationwide Division One side Voice of Nigeria (VON), of Abuja , in a test match before it travels out early next week to confront the Lone Star of Liberia in an international friendly in Monrovia .
The game is expected to be played at the FIFA Goal Project site, where the team has been training in the last four days.
There were indications that the list of players that will make the team to Liberia will be released after the test game, as Big Boss Stephen Keshi, wants to have a last minute opinion on some of his players.
Meanwhile, the maiden media parley of the national team for the year was held Wednesday at the team’s Bolton White Apartment camp site with players and members of the technical crew rubbing minds with the media on what has been happening in camp so far.
The event saw the representatives of several media houses in attendance and was led by Abuja SWAN Chairman, Victor Iroele. The media representatives had a field day asking questions of their choice in the event that lasted between 11am -12noon.
Super Eagles Media Officer, Ben Alaiya assured that the event will be a regular feature, especially during crucial encounters to avail journalists the opportunity of knowing their team well and clearing on any contentious issue.
