
President Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari,is expected at the head of the Nigerian delegation to Dubai, UAE, for Thursday’s international friendly against Egypt that is managed by former USA Coach, Bob Bradley.
Maigari will lead six other officials into Dubai on time for the game that has been scheduled for 8.00pm UAE time, which is 5.00pm Nigerian time for the crunch international friendly that will stretch the wits of the Nigerian side made up entirely of professional players from the Nigerian league.
Officials announced on Wednesday that the match proper will be played at the El Nasri Club Stadium in the centre of Dubai and will attract fans from Nigeria, Egypt and the host nation, UAE.
Even some tourists who have seen the Nigerian side head for training have vowed to be at the stadium to cheer the teams, as both sides gear up for the Nations Cup and World Cup qualifiers.
Soccer fans in Nigeria are expected to get pictures of the game from satellite stations in the country, from 5pm kickoff time.
With Egypt, scheduled to play ten international friendlies between now and the month of May, concerned officials of the NFF and the Super Eagles are already making arrangements for more games for the national team as the rebuilding process of the team continues under Stephen Keshi.
