The Queen Park Rangers, QPR, of London star who was at the unveiling ceremony of Nigeria Racing Eagle' Audi R8 LMS at the legendary Brands Hatch Race Circuit, Kent, London recently said that with the country having a team to represent Africa at the elite Motorsport GT Series, Nigerian stands to benefit from the glamour inherent in Motorsport world.
The football star noted that the Audi R8 LMS car is a good one which will help the Nigerian drivers handling it excel in the Motorsport championship.
The Audi R8 LMS was draped in the famous Nigeria Green and White colours with the Nigeria and Pride of Africa flags proudly flown over the car at the unveiling.
In the wake of the unveiling, Nigeria was featured for the first time in the 62 years history of Autosport Magazine, the most prestigious and best selling Motorsport magazine in the world. The current edition talked about Nigeria Racing Eagle, the pioneering racing team in elite motorsport GT Series.
It also highlight Nigeria’s potential of hosting International Motorsport Series in Nigeria by 2013 and the eagerness of the World of Motorsport coming to Africa led by Nigeria Racing Eagle team to make it a reality.
