Mbachu, who was adjudged the Most Valuable Player at the last edition of the African Women Championship, AWC, said the Falcons still remain the best African women football playing nation despite playing barren draw against South Africa, stressing that the Falcons under the tutelage of Kadiri Ikhana is at the process of building a virile squad ahead of the AWC in Equatorial Giunea.
She said the Falcons expected the Banyana Banyana to put up a good fight because they had been in Brazil and United States for a couple of months in readiness for the London 2012, Olympic Games, adding that the scoreline would encourage the South African team to continue working hard to excel at the Games.
She is optimisic that Falcons would retain the AWC trophy based on the availability of talented football players who are either playing in Europe or at home.
