Flying Eagles, Falconets For International Friendlies

Nigeria's Flying Eagles and Falconets will depart the country today for international friendly games organised by the Nigeria Football Federation to toughen both teams for upcoming challenges.
Sam John Obuh’s Flying Eagles will engage the Young Amavubi of Kigali in a crackb friendly scheduled for tomorrow ahead of the 2013 African Youth Championship qualifying match against the Junior Taifa Stars of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam in a match fixed for next Sunday.
The Young Amavubi will also use the match to prepare for their 2013 African Youth Championship qualifying game at home to the Junior Eagles of Mali on the same weekend. Falconets Head Coach, Edwin Okon, warming up for participation in next month’s 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals in Japan,will play the Black Princesses of Ghana in two friendly games billed for tomorrow and and Thursday next week.
Falconets will return to the country on Friday, for some more friendlies with top Nigeria Women’s League teams, before flying out to Korea Republic on the first of August for a two-week final training camp in Namhei, from where they fly into Japan for the World Cup on August 15, 2012.
NFF General Secretary, Barrister Musa Amadu, said the friendlies would help the two teams prepare hard for the challenges ahead.
While Nigeria’s Falconets play Brazil, Korea Republic and Italy in Group B of the World Cup, Ghana play Germany, USA and China in Group D
