The Nigeria's Falconets has arrived Tokyo, Japan with a consciousness that its journey to World Cup glory has started in readiness for the FIFA Under 20 Women's World Cup.
The competition gets underway this Sunday through Eight of September, 2012. Led by Team Secretary, Faith Ben-Anuge, the 32-man delegation comprising 21 Players and 11 officials were received by top officials from the Nigeria Embassy in Japan and the Federation of International Football,FIFA.
The team were lodged in the Royal Pines Hotel in Saitam alongside fellow group B opponents, Italy, Brazil and Korea Republic are lodged in the same hotel
Falconets Chief Coach, Edwin Okon, revealed that the technical crew would step up its training programme which start today, adding that the team cannot afford to take any chance as they face Korea Republic on Sunday.
The team has bee in korea for two weeks for close camping in an effort to make Nigeria proud at the championship..
