D'Tigress Outdunked Kenya In Afrobasket For Women.

After losing to Angola in its first game in the 2013 Afrobasket Championship in Maputo, Nigeria's D'Tigress, celebrated her first win at the AfroBasket, after defeating Kenya, 60- 46

The team which preparation for for tournament was nothing to write home about, fired past Kenya for 1-1 record in Group B.

Ndidi Madu stepped up with 17 points and 8 boards for the winning team as Kenya fell at 0-2 record after the defeat.

Nigeria held their opponents to 11 points in the opening frame to gain a 6-point lead.

D'Tigress stretched the lead in the second quarter as they accounted for a 32:22 halftime lead.
Kenya struggled offensively in the third term, managing just 6 points to trail by as many as 19 points at the final intermission.

Nigeria unloaded 27 points in the fourth period and sealed the win.
