Enyeama:Eagles Will Not Disappoint Nigerians As Nsofor Is Out.

Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama, has expressed confidence that the team will give a good account of themselves in today's friendly against Italy.

Enyeama, said the Eagles had what it takes to play against Italy as most of them are playing op flight football in Europe and they would not be afaraid to take on the Azurri's.

However, Eagles striker, Victor Obinna Nsofor, who sealed the qualification of Eagles for Brazil 2014 Fifa World on Saturday in the final play- off against Ethiopia, has been ruled out of the encounter due to the injury he copped in the game against Ethiopia.

Nsofor, who is in London with the team, said he would love to have play the match against but there is nothing he could,adding that he would bounce back to action in a good time . 

Nsofor said he hopes to bounce back to action in a quick time and regretted missing the friendly against Italy. “I woulkd really love to have play this game but there is nothing I can do now because of the injury”, he said

A scan will be carried out on Monday by team medics to determine the extent of the injury.
