Uzoenyi Dedicates Awards To God.

After winning three Man of the Match Awards back to back, in theongoing African Nations Championship,CHAN, Super Eagles forward, Ejike Uzoenyi, says he is able achieve the feat based on the unfliching support from his teamates.

“Its like am still dreaming because when we were down by 3-0, it was like the world has ended and finally we started to come back and many said it may be impossible but see what God has done. Na God ooo, no be man”, he declared in local parlance.

Uzoenyi, who thanked God for paving the way for them to win the quater final match against Morroco, said it was as if the world has ended when they were three- nil down in the explosive encounter and they back to win the match 4- 3 to play against Ghana in the semi final.

Uzoenyi, said while he gave the lasy award to his little son who was four years old the day Nigeria defeated Bafana Bafana 3-1, he was dedicating the latest award to God. “If not for God, how can a team recover from 3-0 to come back and win 4-3. It was only God that did it and I want Nigerians to hold fast to him for the betterment of their lives”, he said.

After dedicating Man of the Match Award when Nigeria defeated South Africa in the group match, Uzoenyi, has now dedicated the Man of the Match to God, stressing that it was God who gave them the victory.
