Discovery Air Flies Super Eagles To Victory Over Congo As Babalola Congratulates Nigerians

Nigeria hope of being at the Equatorial Guinea 2015 Africa Cup of Nations has been brightened after Nigeria's Super Eagles at the weekend secured a 2-0 away win over the Republic of Congo.

The Super Eagles picked the maximum point in the crucial encounter against the Red Devils to bring its points tally to seven the same with the Congolese who had earlier beaten Nigeria (3-2) in both sides first meeting in September in Calabar.

The Nigerian contingent was not distracted as they flew to and from Pointe-Noire with Discovery Airline as Super Eagles returnee Ikechukwu Uche put Nigeria ahead with a well taken penalty kick and Aaron Samuel curled in the second from the edge of the box with about ten minutes left in the high profile match as Nigeria leapfrog to second spot behind South Africa in group-A.

 Discovery Airline chairman, Babatunde Babalola, however, congratulated Nigerian for the feat achieved by the Super Eagles in Pointe-Noire and urge the Super Eagles to go ahead and seal qualification for Malabo with a convincing win over South Africa in Uyo on Wednesday.

The Discovery Airline boss says the company is happy to be the ones that flew the Super Eagles to victory over Congo in the Afcon qualifiers and went further to say the airline will continue to play a role in the team successes.
