Few days to the resumption of Nigeria's Under-17 team , Golden Eaglets' closed camping towards next year's continental cadet championship , the wife of the team's medical official, Dr. Ayodeji
Olarinoye(MON), has delivered a 'bouncing' baby boy in the UnitedStates of America.
Olarinoye, a member of the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup-winning team,broke the cheery news that his adorable wife, Dr. Lynda (neeKazalma-Mantey)-who works at the Federal Staff Hospital, Abuja -
actually put to bed at the Prince George Hospital in Cheverly,Maryland in the wee hour of December 1, adding that his family is ingood and cheerful condition.
"God has done it again," said a spirited Olarinoye, the first son of Dr. Steve Olarinoye, the erstwhile Head of International Competitions and Executive Secretary Pro-league Department of Nigeria Football
Federation (NFF). "My wife has delivered a bouncing baby boy yesterday and we are all doing fine and we give God the glory for safe delivery."
Similarly, Dr. Steve Olarinoye who is the Coordinator, Zone 1 of National Sports Commission (NSC) in Ibadan said he was equally elated about the safe delivery of his first grandchild.
"We are indeed grateful to God and many thanks to all of you in the Golden Eaglets for your concern and prayers," he said. "May God be with all of you."
Meanwhile, Golden Eaglets are expected in camp on December 14th in earnest preparation for the CAN Under-17 Championship to be hosted in neighbouring Niger between February 15 and March 1st, 2015.
