Buruj Sports Academy will on Thursday, March 26, participate in this year's World Football Fives Championship qualifiers holding in Lagos.
Buruj Boys will entertain a yet-to-be-named opponents in a Five-A-Side match in the semi-final of the championship, while the final will hold the same day (Thursday) and venue, according to the schedule made
available by the organisers, New Age Sports Africa.
The World Football Fives Championship regional winner will represent the country at the world stage which will hold in Dubai in April and it is a global initiative for grooming of young and amateur football stars into
limelight and where they can be scouted by local and European clubsides and Scouts.
It would be recalled that Buruj Football Academy also feature in this year's Lagos FA Cup where they lost to their first and only game against First Bank FC but the entire team and management are upbeat about their
chances of doing better this time around.
