The President of Africa Table Tennis Federation,ATTF, Khaled El- Salhy, has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Chief Alexander Molade Ojoya- Thomas, the sponsor of Annual Asoju Oba Table Tennis closed Championship.
El- Salhy, who went in company of his team and board members of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation,NTFF, said it was imperative to pay a condolence visit to the family of late Chief Molade Okoya- Thomas who is instrumental to the growth of the game of table tennis through the sponsorship of the Asoju Oba Table Tennis Cup and also to invite the family to final of the International Table Tennis World Tour taged Lagos Open.
He said late Chief Molade Okoya- Thomas was one of the personalities
that brought the ITTF World Tour tagged Lagos Open to Lagos, Nigeria,
because of his support to the development of the game in Nigeria and
Africa.
The son of late Molade Okoya- Thomas, Deji Okoya- Thomas, says it is very touching that the African body of Table Tennis paid a condolence visit to the family, adding that the good works of his father towards the growth of the sport was not in vain.
