Super Falcons’ forward, Asisat Oshoala is optimistic her teammates will do the nation proud to qualify for All Africa Games and the Olympics.
Oshoala, who now plies her trade with Liverpool Ladies, told Super Falcons Media Officer, Gracious Akujobi from her base in the United Kingdom, that the girls in camp are equal to the task at hand and will surely deliver.
“I am very
confident that the girls will qualify us for both games. I call and chat
with my teammates every time and they tell me the seriousness in
training.”
“With the level of training and commitment in camp, I believe strongly that the Falcons will qualify for the All Africa Games and Olympics, with or without the presence of the Europe-based players.”
“I’m so looking forward to the two competitions because they would be my first. I would love us to qualify so that I can feature with them” Oshoala said.
Oshoala, who is the current African Female Footballer and a double winner with her former club, Rivers Angels last season, says she misses the Falcons camp and her teammates but believes that very soon she will be with them.
