The match, which was the first test game the Falcons have played since they came to camp, saw the girls take the match to the boys from the blast of the whistle and got and opener in the 12th minute through a penalty by Evelyn Nwabuoku.
Okobi added the second in the 37th minute while Halimat Ayinde scored the third in the 57th minute. The boys scored their goals in the 49th, 50th and 60th minute.
Coach of the team, Edwin Okon, told the girls after the match that there was still much work to be done as the team prepares to meet Mali for the All Africa Games qualifier later this month.
“It was a good game. At this stage it’s not about winning but fitness but its equally good you didn’t lose the match.”
“There is no magic in getting your fitness and this test games will help us know the ability of each player. We are not disappointed in what we saw being the first test game” he concluded.
