The Confederation of African Football has conducted the Draw for qualification series for next year’s African Nations Championship, with the Super Eagles B to battle Burkina Faso in the only qualifying round in which the two teams will be engaged. The fixture comes up in October this year.
At the Draw inside CAF headquarters in 6th October City, Egypt on Sunday, CAF General Secretary, Hicham El Amrani was assisted by CAF Vice President Almamy Kabele Camara.
Three teams will qualify from Zone West B, which has Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and Togo.
The Northern Zone has four teams from which two teams will qualify; Zone West A has eight teams from which two teams will qualify;
Central Zone has six teams from which three teams will qualify; Central East will produce only two teams aside host nation Rwanda and; Southern Zone will produce three teams from 12 nations.
