Glo Cheers Super Falcons' qualification for All African Games



Major partner of the Nigeria Football Federation and official sponsor of Nigerian national teams, Globacom has congratulated the Super Falcons on their victory over Mali and subsequent qualification for the 2015 All African Games Women football event.
The Super Falcons trounced the Mali Women National team, scoring eight goals in the second leg of the final qualification match played in Abuja on Friday.  The Super Falcons thus qualified on 9-1 aggregate, having played a1-1 draw during the first leg encounter in Bamako two weeks ago.
Globacom, in a press statement in Lagos on Sunday commended the Super Falcons for beating the Malians and ensuring that Nigeria will be represented in Women Football at the AAG holding in Congo Brazzaville.

Super Falcons’ trio of Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie and Francisca Ordega scored a brace each while Esther Sunday and Skipper Evelyn Nwabuoku added one goal each to seal the victory
According to Globacom: “The Super Falcons should leave no stone unturned as they work toward a good outing in the All African Games and ensure that they emerge victorious, thus consolidating their position as the number one women team in Africa." 

“We noted with great interest the fighting spirit and determination the team demonstrated in the match against Mali and we believe this will help them to make Nigeria stand out at the AAG. We believe the team has the character and pedigree to achieve the ultimate goal of picking the gold medal,” the statement added.
 
Globacom congratulated Edwin Okon-led coaching crew, and urged them to work hard and evolve the right strategy to ensure that the team comes top at the forth coming AAG competition

The Super Falcons will represent Nigeria at the women Football event of the All African Games scheduled for Congo Brazzaville between 3rd and 18th September, 2015.
