Morocco To Feature In 2017 African Cup of Nations, Says CAF

CAF has agreed to obey the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sports, which nullified its expulsion of Morocco from the qualification series for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

The African body has taken the decision to punish the North African kingdom for a late decision not to host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, leaving CAF with a challenge. The tournament was eventually hosted by Equatorial Guinea.

As a consequence, Morocco will be in the pot when the Draw for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series is made inside the CAF headquarters in Egypt on Wednesday.
