FIFA and CAF instructor, Adegboye Onigbinde, has strongly condemned the comment made by super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama, over the safety of Ahmadu Bello stadium, Kaduna, in the African cup of nations qualifier against Chad.
The former super eagles coach, said Enyeama as a player should not interlope into the affairs of football administrators whose responsibilities are to ensure smooth running football in Nigeria and also monitor, organise and compete in major competitions in order to be ranked among the best football playing nations.
Onigbinde, who stressed that the NFF should have resolved the issue internally without making it public, said the Eagles captain had no right to query the choice of venue for the Afcon qualifier against Chad which according to him had been sanctioned and approved by FIFA and CAF, adding that Vincent Enyeama is not bigger than the Nigeria Football Federation.
The former football referee, said super eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, must endeavor to enlighten his players not to interlope into the affairs of the NFF but rather concentrate on their primary assignments and make the nation proud in major competitions.
