Head Coach of Nigeria's Olympic team, Samson Siasia, has invited five more players to the team's camp ahead of the return leg of the African Under 23 Championship final qualifying fixture against Congo.
According to Siasia, the invited players were to add bite to the team's attack and solidify the defence as the team intensifies preparations for the potentially -explosive return leg in Pointe Noire on Sunday, August 2.
The invited players are overseas -based Aminu Umar and Abdullahi Shehu, Semiu Liadi of Warri Wolves FC, Ndifreke Effiong of Abia Warriors and Flying Eagles' midfielder Kingsley Sokari.
The home -based professionals are expected to report to camp immediately while those based overseas are expected in camp by this weekend.
Meanwhile, Coach Siasia has sounded a note of warning to all players given permission to travel after the team's first leg game against Congo in Port Harcourt to report unfailingly to camp on Wednesday or be axed.
