Following the barren draw against the Taifa of Tanzania in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, the Nigeria Football Federation,NFF, has advised teeming Nigerian football fans not to panic over the performance of Super Eagles.
Its Chairman of Technical and Development Committee, Felix Anyansi-Agwu,maintained that there was no cause for alarm as regards Nigeria’s quest for a place in 2017 Gabon Africa Cup of Nations.
The highly –experienced Anyansi-Agwu, who steered Enyimba FC to two successive CAF Champions League titles in 2003 and 2004, and has a 15 –year experience in African football, said he was confident that the technical crew of Nigeria's Super Eagles would make the antion proud in the remaining four group matches.

“This is not the time for name –calling.
We should give support to the technical crew and the players. The
Nigeria Football Federation certainly worked hard to see that the team
won in Tanzania, but it didn’t happen and we just have to look ahead.”
Anyansi-Agwu also posited that the present squad has a great future.
“I see a great future ahead and I am
very serious about it. When you are in a situation of re-building, you
have to exercise patience. It is the attitude that matters and I see a
great attitude with this group.
“The discipline and the organization and
the commitment are there. The team will certainly get better,”
contended Anyansi-Agwu, who was vice chairman of the Technical and
Development Committee in the immediate past NFF administration.
