Mamabolo, Says South Africa Is Ready To Host World Cup

The South African Ambassador to Nigeria, Kingsley Mamabolo, has declared that South Africa would deliver a world class FIFA World Class when the soccer mundial kick off between June and July, 2010.
The South African Ambassador, who made this statement while speaking with sports journalists in Lagos, said south Africa would forever change the perception of the international community and also ensure a lasting legacy for the people of Africa.
The diplomat, said South Africa was ready to host the world during the soccer mundial following their track records on international sports which the country successfully hosted.
He said the 2010 FIFA World Cup would expose South Africa and Africa to the world, optimise tourism and other developmental opportunities, promote soccer and foster pride and confidence in Africa.
He said prior to the FIFA endorsement to host the tournament, South Africa government had provided seveneteen guarantee to FIFA as the gesture has reinforced a coordinated and concentrated effort has been amde to achieve the undertakings
He said South Africa would be the fist country in the history of the FIFA 2010 World Cup to offer an event visa, stressing that the event visa would be issued to nationals travelling from non - visa exempt countries that are able to proof purchase of a FIFA match ticket.
