Supporters Club to Storm South Africa With 2000 Members

The Nigeria Football Supporters Club will storm South Africa for the FIFA World Cup with two thousand members in an efforts to support the Super Eagles to victory in the first ever FIFA World Cup on African soil.
The President General of the Club, Rauf Ladipo, who doubles as the President of African Union of Supporters Club,said the opportunity to travel to South Africa was opened to all the registered memebers across the continent as it would go a long way to aid the Super Eagles victory to make impact at the soccer mundial.
According to him, the need to increase the number to two thousand as against over one thousand members who were in France FIFA World Cup to support Super Eagles was due to the fact that the World Cup is being staged on an African siol and it would be important to display african way of supportig their teams to victory , adding that he is satisfied with arrangement South African government has put in place for a successful outing in June 2010.
Ladipo, said plans are in top gear to have a uniform football supporters club for all the african countries that are to feature in the tournament as the club is optimistic that the gesture would help an african team to qualify for either the Semi final or final of the World Cup.
The Presdient General, said he would travel to meet other prominent members of the African Union of the Supporters Club to conlude arrangement on how best to have a unified body to drum support for african teams.
