NFF Approves Siasia Programme

The NNF Tecnical Committee has approved the programme of the Super Eagles’ Head Coach, Samson Siasia in the short term.

According to the communique issued by the Federation and made available to Sportsweight.blogspot.com,Siasia will depart for Europe at the end of the week to meet with a number of Nigeria international players plying their trade abroad.

On the issue of backroom staff, the Committee is still holding consultations with Siasia and will make its decision known very soon.

The Committee opted for a total review of the technical crew of the national Under 17 boys’ team, and is determined to avoid any controversy in the age of the players as this is the bedrock of our football development.

The Committee proposed to restructure the Technical Department of the NFF in line with modern, international standards and according to the yearnings of Nigerians.

The Committee is proposing training programmes for all Nigerian football coaches in order to bring them uptill date on modern techniques and tactics as the Committee is considering using technical assessors for all League matches played in the country.

The Committee will propose guidelines for the establishment of football academies in the country.
