NFF Salutes NSC

The Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation has expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for showing keen interest in the candidature of Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima into the CAF Executive Committee.

In a communique made available to Sportsweight.blogspot.com, the NFF Ex-co which made the commendation during its Board meeting held on Tursday at the NFF Secretariat, also set up a six-man Advisory Committee to serve as its think-tank and advice the NFF leadership on crucial matters on football.

The Advisory Committee has General Dominic Oneya (rtd) as Chairman, with Group Captain John Obakpolor (rtd) as member, Dr. Tijjani Yusuf (member), Mr. John Masteroudes (member), Mr. Austin Mgbolu (member) and Mr. Ade Ojeikere (member).

Other major decisions taken at the Board meeting include the recall of its Chief Media Officer, Mr. Ademola Olajire and the Head of the Referee Unit, Mr. Sunday Okayi who were suspended on 26th July, 2010.

Also recalled is Mr. John Adelowo, an accounts staff.
