First Deepwater Beat First Bank To Title.

With a phase left in the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) Zenith Bank Women Basketball League, defending champion First Deepwater basketball club secured a 69-63 points win against  First Bank basketball club  in the second phase of the league in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The defending champion rose from a 33-35 points lose at halftime break to push back the Elephant Girls in the third and fourth quarters by 14-09 and 22-19 for a final scores of 69-63 points to beat the bankers yet to a third straight title.

Results of some other games played  yesterday, Immigration basketball club of Kano went down to FCT Angels basketball club of Abuja by 37-54 points, Plateau Rocks basketball club of Jos also kissed the court with a 46-50 points lose to Delta Force basketball club of Asaba while Sunshine Angels basketball club of Akure had the better of AHIP by 69 - 48 points.

Action continue today with four game on the bill, Immigration will do battle against city rival AHHIP, Customs will have its hands full when it confront Sunshine Angels, Plateau Rocks takes on defending champion First Deepwater basketball club in the last game of the day.
