Head Coach of Nigeria's Under 15 team, Danladi Nasidi, has picked 26 young football players after the team's first phase screening which was concluded over the weekend in Abuja.
To this end, the selected football players will return for the second phase scheduled for next month, ahead of the Eight-Nation Adidas Under 15 Tournament taking place in Mexico between 18th -24th, of June, 2012.
Only 18 players will be selected from the returning group of 26 for the Eight-Nation Adidas Under 15 Invitational Tournament taking place in Mexico.
About 50 players from top-notch football academies such as Kwara Football Academy, Ilorin and the Abuja-based FOSLA Academy, and some players from the COPA Coca-Cola UK Summer Camp of 2011 took part in the exercise at the Football Turf of the FIFA Technical Centre, National Stadium, Abuja.
Among the selected players are Muraina Sanni, Anas Mohammed, Ajayi Abiodun, Obasi Chigozie, Philip Samson, Hamza Tanimu, Etiboy Akpan, Chidera Eze, Ekene Onwuka, Clement Ogbobe, Njoku Jacob, Sogo Alaofin, Uche Chinedu, Abdul Ahmed, Adewale Makanjuola, Bonaventure Dennis, Awoniyi Taiwo, Udoh Akpan, Lazarus John, Elijah Joseph, Solomon Nsude, Ajetomobi Ojo, Isah Hussaini, Abbas Ibrahim, Mbotidem Okoh and Abubakar Babaji.
