The Nigeria Football Federation has praised the Bauchi State government for allocating 13 hectares of land for the proposed National Technical Centre in the State.

Its President, Aminu Maigari, who made this remark after meeting with Governor Isa Yuguda, said the centre was one of the FIFA Goal Projects that the Federation is embarking on.
“The Government of Bauchi State has allocated 13 hectares of land to the proposed National Technical Centre in Bauchi State – one of the FIFA Goal Projects that we are embarking on and for which we already
have the go-ahead of world football-governing body, FIFA”, said Maigari. “For this great gesture, the NFF is full of appreciation to the Bauchi State government”.

The project will form part of the three-arm FIFA Goal Project 2 for which the NFF already has provisional approval, working hand-in-hand with the FIFA Development Officer for West Africa, Mr. Sampon Kablan.

The other National Technical Centres are billed for Lagos and Anambra States.
