Its Chairman,Wale Edun,said the Lagos State pugulists were on the right track of success owing to their exposure to international boxing competition couple with the availability of a world class boxing gymnasium at their disposal as well as the backing of the Lagos State Government and support from the corporate bodies.
Edun,said the efficacy of regular Saturday boxing show was well pronounced last Thursday where the State boxers under the aegis of Lagos State Amateur Boxing Association outpunched their counterparts from the Repton Boxing Club of London in the International Boxing Competition by four win to two in an event organised by the Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame.
He said LBHF had been able to smoothen the path of success of the State's boxers by given them Facility match practice as well as international exposure,Stressing that LBHF is investing heavily in boxing in other to align with President Goodluck Jonathan directive of restructuring Sports.
He said plans are in top gear to create an avenue for the State boxers to go for a return leg in London.
