Out favoured Super Eagles defender,Sam Sodje, has said that it would be a disaster if Nigeria's Eagles fail to beat Liberia in the final return leg in Calabar, in October, to qualify for the African Nation Cup in South African in 2013.
Sodje, who last played for the Eagles under the rein of Amodu Shuaibu as the team's Head coach is yet to play for the team ever since Stephen Keshi was apointed as the Eagles Head Coach.
The defender, said the technical crew must parade football players who were match fit and ready to commit everything in them to book a ticket for the continental soccer fiesta, stressing that Stepen Keshi has been able to bridge the gap between the Nigeria Premier League players and the nation's foreign players by creating a platform for the home based Eagles to exhibit their talents.
He believed that he deserve an invitation into the present squad of the Eagles because he is still playing an active football and he would not force himself on the team's technical crew but rather would want his current form and experience to fight for his inclussion into the Eagles.
