Following the barren draw in the first match of the Nigeria National League(NNL) side, Bolowotan football club of Ikorodu and Unicem Rovers of Calarba, the Oga Boys gaffer, Samuel Olofu has tendered an apology to all football faithfuls and most especially the club avid supporters, and those who were present at the Agege Stadium, on Saturday, the 22nd of December, 2012.
Coach Samuel, told the official website of the club, www.Bolowotanfc.com after the encounter, that he appreciated the fans for their supports and he urged them not relent in supporting the club.
"First and foremost, I want to commend the club Supporters for their undying love for the club, and am using this opportunity to appeal to the fans because without them there would not be us,"
"We started the game on good note, both sides showed quality and top most performance, we played against a more experienced team, this game is our first match in the NNL, we missed a couple of chances in the first half and in second half of the game",
"We have realised our short comings, we will work on them, the match ended in a goaless draw which for me I think it was not a good result but a fair one,"
"We will be playing two games on the road, the first one will be against Ocean Boys now Divine Warriors in Yenagoa and the second one will be against Gabros Fc, I believe we will come back home with positive results".
Bolowotan will host two time African Champions, Enyimba of Aba, at th Agege Stadium, come this Thursday, 27th of December 2012, in a warm up match before the team depart Lagos for their Week two and Week three games.
