Super Eagles goalkeeper, Austin Ejide, has resumed light training in a bid to regain fitness ahead of the African Nations Cup in South Africa.
Super Eagles Media Officer, Ben Alaiya, reports that the light training schedule for the player started on Sunday morning , when he was passed fit to embark on swimming therapy by the national team medics.
On Monday , Ejide, was fit as a fiddle but still being closely monitored to avoid a relapse by the medical crew.
He was to be seen in training with keeper’s trainer, Ike Shorunmu and Physiotherapist, Olawale Oladejo.
The Medics however said they would not rush the Israeli based keeper into action but all was looking very well for him to bounce back in a record time.
