Keshi, Eagles In Positive Showdown Talks.

As the Super Eagles confront Zambia on Friday in their second African Nations Cup, the team's Head coach, Stephen Keshi held a positive  talk with his players with the aim at refocusing the team for the  tournament.

The talks which was held at the training pitch of the Ingwenyama Sports and Leisure Club, said the meeting which was positive and lasted for thirty minutes was aimed at ensuring that the team excel at the continental soccer fiesta.

The team's striker Brown Ideye, urged Nigerians to keep supporting the team as they were focused on ensuring a good outing at the African Nations Cup.

President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Aminu Maigari, assured the football players that the nation still expects them to do well at the championship despite playing One- all draw with Burkina Faso, stressing that the Federation have confidence in their abilities to make Nigeria proud at the tournament.

Sports Minister, Mallam Bolaji Abdulahi, who spoke with the team on phone,  told  the players to forget the game against the Burkinabes and focus on its remaining group games as the tournament has proven to be one full of surprises.

Keshi thanked the Minister and the NFF President for keeping faith in the team and assured that they will not disappoint.

Team Skipper Joseph Yobo, assured that as professionals the team had forgotten the result of the first game and are looking for a better outing in its subsequent encounters.
