FG, Amaechi, Offor Get Plaudits For Support

The leadership of the Super Eagles have again hailed the exemplary disposition of Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, for his financial support of One hundred thousand dollars before the team's final game group game against Ethiopia.

 Eagles Secretary, Dayo Achor, said in a statement that Governor Amaechi deserved a special place in the annals of Nigeria football as he was the first to believe that the team would win the Africa Cup of Nations despite what many have called a stuttering start to the tourney.

Team Coordinator, Emmanuel Atta, also heaped praises on the Federal Government for their prompt release of announced amount made for the team government.

Business mogul, Chief Emeka Offor, was also well appreciated for his financial support of five hundred thousand dollars for the team after claiming the Afcon 2013 trophy.

“We appreciate Chief Offor and several corporate citizens who have shown that it’s not only by words of mouth but through action that they back the Eagles”, Achor said in a statement.
