Ghana,Togo,Delta Through To quarter final

Two west African countries Ghana,Togo have booked a place in the quarter final stage of the ongoing second SirVictor Ochei International Basketball Championship at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium,Surulere ,Lagos.

Also in the quarterfinal stage which hold today Thursday are,the defending champions Delta State,Lagos,Bayelsa,Imo,Kwara,and Edo states.

Togo,the third West African country at championship been sponsored by the Speaker,Delta State House of Assembly,Rt Hon Victor Ochei were unlucky to advance to the next stage having lost two matches to Bayelsa and Delta

Speaking with Sportsweight.blogspot.com, the Technical director, Wheelchair Basketball Federation of Nigeria WBFN,Adoki Tamuno who described the level of the championship high so far,said the federation have able to shortlist some players for the national under 23 team to South Africa later in theyear,but that final list would be ready at the end of the championship.
