Purple Krown College of Enugu Lifts NNPC/SHELL Cup.

Purple Krown College of Enugu has grabbed the sum of three point five million niara for wining the 15th edition of the NNPC/SHELL Cup courtsey of a lone goal scord by Uzordimma Emmanuel.
The champion of All Nigeria Secondary School Football Championship that defeated Government Seondary School, Wuse, Abuja at the final of which came to an end on Sunday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, went home with the sum of two point five million naira(2.5 million naira) for sports development in the school while ach football player would get fifty thousand naira each(50,000.00).
Purple Krown College of Enugu, showed that they are strong enough to win the competition despite wasting many scoring chances as the efforts of Government Secondary School, Wuse, Abuja to eualise was curtailed.
Head Coach of Purple Krown College of Enugu, Reginald Ozoekwe, who attributed the victory to God, said the team which had been together for two years deserve to win due to hard work and commitment to excel, stressing that he would retain the players ahead of the Invitational football competition in the United States of America in September, 2013.
Fesal Ali of Government Arabic College, Kano, emerged as the Best Goalkeeper, Arinze Okamkpa of Purple Krown College of Enugu emerged the Best Defender as Malomo Taofik of Government College, Ibadan was adjudged the Best Midfielder.
Uzordimma Emmanuel of Purple Krown College of Enugu who scored the only goal at the final was adjudged the Most Valuable Player just as Osaime Joshua of Purple Krown College of Enugu won the Highest Goal Scorer award having scored six goals.
