LSFA Organises Match Commissioner Seminar.

The Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, has concluded plans to organize a 2012/2013 season Match Commissioner Seminar.

The programme which comes up on Wednesday is part of its statutory responsibility and in line with the LSFA's  mission to properly organize football matches at all levels in Lagos State.

The seminar would hold  at the Sports Bar of the Teslimi Balogun Stadium Complex, Surulere, Lagos, is aimed at raising the standard of football matches operations and, standard of refereeing to a higher level.

Chairman of the Technical sub committee of the board of LSFA, Dotun Coker said the Match Commissioner is expected to focus on football match operations and, will take into account every detail of a particular football match, including media operations, security, medical, broadcasting, marketing and, overall visibility of LSFA and affiliates events.

He said papers would be presented by veteran FIFA/CAF Referees match assessor, Linus Mba, FIFA/CAF Match Commissioner, Paul Bassey and  Premier League Referee, Gabriel Adigwe.

Coker stated that the LSFA Match Commissioner should be regarded as LSFA’s official representative at a football match and, his role shall be of paramount importance in all organized football match.
